For the sixth time overall - and first time as the formalized Iowa Golf Council - the Iowa Golf Association, Iowa PGA, the Iowa Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the Iowa Tall Corn Chapter of the CMAA will bring industry leaders together to network and educate on working together. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 12th and will be hosted at Des Moines Golf & Country Club in West Des Moines. The general theme of the event will be centered around where the game is headed after the recent surge in interest.
The keynote speaker will be Wayne Charles Edmiston, Jr. Edmiston is a distinguished United States Marine Corps combat veteran and a growing handicap golfer. Wayne combines his extensive military experience with his passion for golf, bringing unique insights and a disciplined approach to both the sport and his time in Hollywood, in war, and in Congress.
In addition to Edmiston, there will be featured speakers from the USGA, PGA of America, GCSAA and Youth on Course on hand to discuss what they have seen on the national landscape.
Education credits are available for PGA Professionals, Club Managers, and Superintendents. In addition to terrific education, the summit provides a terrific networking opportunity for speakers and attendees. Anyone interested in golf is welcome to attend. If you are a decision-maker at your club, employee at a course, or involved in the golf industry in some way, or if you are just an avid golfer, you should seriously consider attending the Iowa Golf Summit. Cost?
The fee to attend the Iowa Golf Summit is $60 per person and includes breakfast, lunch, and beverages throughout the day.

The Iowa Golf Summit will be held at the Des Moines Golf & Country Club in West Des Moines, IA – 1600 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, IA 50266.
WOMEN’S GOLF SUMMIT – The second Iowa Women’s Golf Summit will be held on Sunday, May 19th at Golf House Iowa in Des Moines! Details are being finalized and will be announced in early March.
